Well everyone, we’re still here. And it’s pretty obvious that we’re running way, way behind schedule this year AND Mile High Stampede is a week earlier than normal. Nonetheless, we’re here and MHS 2010 is going to be as awesome as ever, we promise!

Well everyone, it’s finally here. As I write this it’s about 1:50 AM and I’ve just finished getting the Round One Update Video posted. If you missed the worship rally, you really missed something awesome. The music was awesome and the spirit of God fell in a really powerful way on the service. There were young people dancing in the altar and worshiping God with passion and sincerity that made a very big impact on me. I’m too exhausted to write more right now, but check back tomorrow after I’ve had a chance to sleep! Check out the video update and check back here often over the next couple of days and weeks as we get more videos, pictures an audio posted!
Well folks, it’s been 10 whole days since we last spoke to each other and a lot has happened. Our musicians got together for their first practice and I gotta say - it’s sounding awesome. Really awesome. Seriously, you don’t even know. We also went shopping for food and spent a LOT of time working on a really special surprise. Our DJ has, I’m sure been cracking his knuckles and doing whatever kind of finger stretching and warm-ups that DJs do…I think it probably has something to do with playing paper football.

Brother Bobby Long, National Junior Bible Quizzing Quizmaster will be attending MHS this year as the Junior Quizmaster. He will available Thursday night after the worship rally (during the ice cream social) to answer questions and will be holding a session on Friday during the day for all the coaches who will be able to make it. Well. It’s that time a year again. We’ve been planning this year’s Mile High Stampede since last year. We’ve got some really cool things that we haven’t had in the past and we’re trying to make this the best year yet. We’re kicking MHS off with a worship rally and ice cream social on Thursday night. We’ve got teams coming from 3 different states so far (you’ll have to come to find out who they are ;). HOPEFULLY, we will have homemade gumbo (by yours truly) for dinner on Friday night and MHS t-shirts you can purchase. We’re still working out a few details with both of those though. So come ready for some good competition, good food, and good fun! Can’t wait to ya’ll there!
